Creating Lifelong Smiles
Have you heard much about the connection between the mouth and the health of the rest of your body? The reason our founders Dr. Lori and Dr. Shay Markovitch got into dentistry was to change lives. The mouth is actually the gateway to the health of the entire body. When there’s inflammation in your mouth it also shows up in other areas like your heart, your kidneys, and your liver. When we can reduce disease and inflammation in the mouth, we reduce the risk of disease in the rest of the body. So we don’t just change your smile, we’re enhancing and extending the quality and longevity of your life.
Leading in the Latest Dental Technology
Our team is proud of our advanced professional training and our high tech tools to ensure
quality dental outcomes. We have experts who specialize in comprehensive general and cosmetic dentistry including professional teeth whitening, Invisalign® clear braces, the most beautiful and realistic porcelain veneers, the very best types of dental implants, mercury-free fillings, metal-free restorations, non-surgical periodontal therapy for gum infection, digital x-rays to reduce radiation exposure, and the use of advanced dental lasers.
Our office is conveniently located right in the heart of White Plains, just off of Main Street.
Whether you’re commuting to or from New York City, our dental office is close to the White Plains MTA station and right off the Bronx River Parkway. Many of our patients work at the nearby White Plains Hospital. We offer convenient appointments as early as 8am, and as late as 5pm. If you need an emergency dental appointment, just give us a call and we’ll see you that same day to get you out of dental pain.
Unique Needs for All Ages
Every patient at different ages and milestones during their life will have different dental needs.
For example, when it comes to children’s dentistry, children need to be engaged and educated on their oral health in a fun and entertaining way, so that they don’t develop dental anxiety at a young age. Prevention for children is key with services such as sealants, fluoride, and orthodontics.
As we age, the environment of our mouth changes with diet, stress, and can be affected by medications. Our busy young professionals can benefit from protective nightguards, routine checkups and cleanings, tooth whitening, and clear aligner therapy to correct their bite and prevent costly dental problems down the road.
Older dental patients may have missing teeth that require replacement, challenges with receding or bleeding gums, or may be interested in cosmetic restoration to restore a youthful appearance. All these services and more are available at White Plains Family Dentistry, with expert gentle care you and your family can trust.
